Adding Names
Adding names listed on memorials helps us to create a searchable database of those commemorated, which identifies where they are remembered and any other biographical details listed on the memorial. This allows family members, friends and researchers to easily locate where somebody is commemorated and what information is available.
Our role is only to record the memorial and not to correct mistakes or to add additional biographical details. Information should be recorded as it is stated on the memorial regardless of spelling mistakes, geographical errors or historical inaccuracy. You can note any inaccuracies in the name record if you spot them.
You may be able to find further details on names on other websites but do not add any additional details that are not listed on the memorial itself. You can list these under references
There are several different way to add names
1: Creating a name record
