- A brass plaque in the shape of an arch mounted with a stone surround.

- TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF 2ND LIEUTENANT PERCY B. WRIGLEY, ROYAL ENGINEERS, WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION ON MARCH 23RD 1918 IN THE GREAT BATTLE IN FRANCE NEAR CAMBRAI. THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY HIS LOVING MOTHER. / 'HE WHOM THIS TABLET COMMEMORATES WAS NUMBERED AMONG THOSE WHO, AT THE CALL OF KING AND COUNTRY, LEFT ALL THAT WAS DEAR TO THEM, ENDURED HARDNESS, FACED DANGER AND FINALLY PASSED OUT OF THE SIGHT OF MEN, IN THE PATH OF DUTY AND SELF-SACRIFICE, GIVING UP THEIR LIVES THAT OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM'
