- TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF CECIL WALTER BURT ROYAL ENGINEERS THE HOLY TABLE WAS PLACED / IN THIS CHURCH. HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE SEPTEMBER 25TH 1915 AGED 28 YEARS
