    LIFE SIZED RECLINING FIGURE OF THE DECEASED IN UNIFORM, IN THE STYLE AND MANNER OF A MEDIAEVAL TOMB EFFIGY, WITH HIS HEAD RESTING ON HIS SADDLE AND HIS FEET ON HIS HELMET. DEDICATION CARVED ON NORTH SIDE OF RECTANGULAR BASE FAMILY CREST AND MOTTO (FESTINA LENTE) CARVED IN HALF RELIEF BELOW INSCRIPTION
