- Brass Plaque with dome in centre top. At centre top is the badge of the Northumberland Fusiliers. A plain wide border formed of parallel lines ends in circles containing a leaf pattern in each corner. Lettering is in a mixture of Old English and Roman upper and lower case.

- TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/ GEORGE PEARS WALTON OF ACOMB HIGH HOUSE/ LIEUTENANT 4TH NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS/ WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION NEAR BEAUCOURT-SUR-ANCRE ON THE/ 22ND AUGUST 1918 WHILE ATTACHED TO THE 2ND LINCOLNS/ PREVIOUS TO THIS ON 15TH SEPTEMBER 1916 AFTER FIFTEEN MONTHS/ CONTINUOUS SERVICE IN BELGIUM AND FRANCE HE HAD/ BEEN SEVERELY WOUNDED NEAR HIGH WOOD ON THE SOMME./ STEADFAST IN LIFE AND IN DEATH UNDAUNTED
