    Description
VILLAGE HALL WITH GABLE TOPPED PORCH CONTAINING INSCRIPTION. CONTAINS CONCERT ROOM, READING ROOM, GAMES ROOM, KITCHEN AND TENNIS COURT. INSIDE THE HALL ARE FRAMED PLANS AND NEWSPAPER CUTTINGS RELATING TO THE UNVEILING. Inside the hall there is a Brass Plaque set in a wide wood frame. The original brass for 1914-18 has been extended at the bottom in order to add the names from 1939-45. A new frame must have been made to accommodate the additional plaque, since it is complete. There is a border of shamrocks which also divides the names from the two wars. The dedication is in Roman capitals. The names from 1914-18 are listed in three columns, using sans serif capitals throughout. The names from 1939-45 are on one line.
