    Description
    Stained glass window depicting St. George with a scallop shell (sign of the pilgrim) on his breastplate, carting a spear in his right hand and an elaborately shaped shield decorated with his cross in his left hand. Above him the words “Quo fata vocant” (“Where the fates lead”) are written with a decoration of oak leaves. Behind him a winding path leads to ?the new Jerusalem. On the sloping sill below is a brass plaque bearing the dedication. At centre top is a cross in red enamel. The lettering is in Roman capitals throughout.
