- The Redesdale Army Training Camp was demolished in July 2003. A new camp was allocated on the Army Training Camp, and the memorial was transferred. On the original site the memorial had a post at each corner, approx. 2 feet high, with a chain slung between round three sides, leaving the front open. The concrete floor, chain and posts were painted white. The memorial on its new site has lost the chain link fencing but is flanked by two flagpoles. There was also a stone plinth, 4 feet high by 2 feet wide.
