    Brass Plaque. There is a simple patterned border around the edge. The names are in a single column in raised Roman capitals. "To the Glory of God" is in Gothic script and "Their Name Liveth for Evermore" is in italic capitals. Lettering unpainted.

    Contributions to War Memorial Tablet Fund. The gift of Mrs. David Low, a prominent member of the church, as a thanksgiving on the conclusion of the war. The fund was started by the use of £3 which was left over from the Soldiers Comforts Fund.
    Maintenance History
    When the Presbyterian Church closed, the plaque was removed to the church hall of St. Aidan's United Reformed Church, Hencotes, which was used as a church until 1959 before it became a permanent church, rededicated in 1960.
