    Description
    Blue York Stone Cenotaph. Near the top is a cast bronze laurel wreath. The names are on cast bronze plaques on all 4 faces, in raised lettering. Four smaller plaques are attached lower down for the WW2 names. The names on all 8 plaques are in 2 columns. Each plaque has a raised decorated border, and a raised line down the middle divides the names. Lettering is in Roman capitals throughout, except for ranks which are lower case.
