- The WINDOW DEPICTS KING OSWALD OF NORTHUMBRIA ERECTING A CROSS BEFORE THE BATTLE OF HEAVENFIELD IN 635AD. A Brass Plaque (to fit the space it occupies) bears the inscription, and has a border studded with VALUABLE stones.
