- BRASS NOWY-HEADED PLAQUE IN WOODEN FRAME. INCISED BLACK LETERING. SOME INITIAL LETTERS ARE IN RED. PLAIN INSCRIBED LINE AROUND EDGES (NOWY-HEADED AT TOP) INTERSECTING AT EACH CORNER WITH CIRCULAR SCREW-HEADING. BADGE OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE REGT AT TOP OF PLAQUE UNDER NOWY-HEADING
