A wall-mounted brass plaque with incised black enamelled inscription, with the initial letters being rubricated. His Regimental Badge is incised in the top left-hand corner. Set beneath a similar plaque for an elder brother.

ALSO OF/ HIS YOUNGEST BROTHER/ LIEUT G. EUAN SANDERSON/ 9TH ROYAL IRISH RIFLES/ 107TH BRIGADE MACHINE GUN CO./ BORN APRIL 3RD 1889/ KILLED IN ACTION JULY 1ST 1916 AT THIEPVAL/ LEADING HIS MEN IN A CHARGE./ "THEY SHALL WALK WITH ME IN WHITE,/ FOR THEY ARE WORTHY".
