- A wall-mounted brass plaque with incised black enamelled inscription, with the initial letters being rubricated. His Regimental Badge is incised in the top left-hand corner. A similar plaque commemorating his youngest brother sits below.

SANDERSON, J.P., OF EASTFIELD/ HALL IN THIS PARISH/ BORN MAY 24TH 1887. DIED APRIL 26TH 1915./ HE LANDED WITH THE 29TH DIVISION AT GALLIPOLI/ APRIL 25TH, FELL MORTALLY WOUNDED APRIL 26TH AND/ DIED THE SAME DAY ON BOARD THE HOSPITAL/ SHIP "GUILDFORD CASTLE" AND WAS BURIED AT SEA/ "DULCE ET DECORUM EST PRO PATRIA MORI"
