      1963

      Reason for move

The old bridge over the River Coquet was replaced with a new bridge to its East. The memorial stood beside the Northern end of the bridge, set into the steep embankment beneath the new Cemetery. The construction of the new bridge necessitated cutting into the embankment at the location of the Memorial.
