FRANK BRYAN PARKER, THE LAST/ COMPANY COMMANDER OF 'D' COMPANY, 10TH YORK-/ SHIRE REGIMENT (DISBANDED THROUGH CASUALTIES),/ AFTERWARDS COMPANY COMMANDER IN 5TH AND 6TH/ YORKSHIRE REGIMENTS, WHO WAS TWICE WOUNDED,/ SERVED THREE WINTERS IN FRANCE AND ONE WINTER IN/ MURMANSK, AND WAS KILLED IN ACTION NEAR ARCHANGEL/ ON SUNDAY, THE 23RD MARCH 1919, AGED 22; AND IN/ HONOURED MEMORY OF 10 OFFICERS AND 106 OTHER/ RANKS, SOME TIME OF 'D' COMPANY, 10TH YORKSHIRE/ REGIMENT, KILLED IN ACTION 1915-19"/ (CROSS BASE) "THEY DIED THE NOBLEST DEATH A MAN MAY DIE/ FIGHTING FOR GOD AND RIGHT AND LIBERTY,/ AND SUCH A DEATH IS - IMMORTALITY" (LEFT PANEL) THE BRAVEST AND KINDEST OF MEN.
