- NEAR THIS PLACE LIES THE BODY OF/ COLONEL METCALFE GRAHAM,/ WHO DIED ON THE 14TH DAY OF JANUARY 1758/ AGED 78 YEARS/ AT THE BATTLE OF BLENHEIM HE WAS ADJUTANT GENERAL/ AND BY HIS BRAVERY AND CONDUCT THERE/ OBTAINED THE FAVOUR AND FRIENDSHIP OF HIS GRACE THE DUKE OF MARLBOROUGH/ HE MARRIED MRS ISABELLA JACOBA DE BONS OF BREDA/ WHOSE REMAINS WERE HERE DEPOSITED/ THE 25TH DAY OF MAY 1720/ AND BY HER HAD ISANE CATHERINE JACOBA/ THE SIFE OF SIR REGINALD GRAHAM BARONET/ HER FILIAL PIETY ERECTED THIS MONUMENT/ IN REMEMBRANCE OF HER PARENTS
