    Description
One of two windows of similar design from William Morris (Westminster) Ltd created in 1953 which sit across from one another in the church and are dedicated to three Holdsworth brothers, two of whom were killed in WW2. (See WMR 29633 for the other.) This is a three light window in memory of Sub Lieutenant Michael Holdsworth, who is depicted in flying gear in the central light, and his brother, Flight Lieutenant William Holdsworth, who served in the RAF. An angel is shown behind the central figure placing a crown upon his head, and beneath is the Latin text, Morte sua nobis vitam redemerunt (In the midst of life we are in death). The badges of the Royal Navy and the Fleet Air Arm are in the traceries above. The left-hand light depicts St Nicholas, and the right-hand light St Michael, with sword and armour. Within roundels beneath the figures are, left, a sower scattering seed, and, right, a reaper scything corn. A small brass plaque carrying a white enameled inscription is on the wall below.
