BRIDGERULE WELCOME HOME FUND THANKSGIVING DAY JUNE 8TH 1946 TO MEN AND WOMEN IN THE FORCES WE THE MEN AND WOMEN OF BRIDGERULE DESIRE TO OFFER TO YOU OUR GRATEFUL THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND BEEN THROUGH IN THE GREAT W AR 1939-1945. SOME HAVE BEEN ABROAD FIGHTING HARD WHERE AND HOW THE RULERS OF OUR NATION HAVE SENT YOU. ALL HAVE BEEN IN DANGERS. WE JOIN YOU IN THANKING ALMIGHTY GOD THAT THROUGH THE WAR ALL YOUR LIVES HAVE BEEN SPARED IN THIS PARISH. WE ASK YOU TO ACCEPT THE ENCLOSED CHEQUE FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR KING AND COUNTRY.
