    Wall mounted wood framed and glazed illustrated roll of honour above narrow attached shelf. Group photo and forty-one individual photos centered with names below.

    ILLUSTRATED ROLL OF HONOUR/ PARKHAM SOLDIERS AND SAILORS IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 TO 1919/ PURCHASED COPY OF THE PHOTOGRAPH PRESENTED TO EACH MAN BELOW OR/ TO HIS REPRESENTATIVE AND TO ONE OTHER WHO WAS NEITHER ABLE TO BE/ PRESENT IN THE GROUP NOR TO BE INSERTED BY MEMBERS OF EIGHTEEN/ FAMILIES ATTENDING PARKHAM PARISH CHURCH. MEMBERS OF FOUR FAMILIES/ NOT OF THE CONGREGATION CONTRIBUTED TOWARDS THE FRAMING OF THE COPIES/ GIVEN TO THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE FALLEN HEROES. WE PRESENT THESE/ PHOTOGRAPHS AS A TOKEN OF RESPECT AND GRATITUDE/ WHEREWITHAL SHALL A YOUNG MAN CLEANSE HIS WAY? BY TAKING HEED/ THERETO ACCORDING TO THY WORD PSALM CXIX 9.
