Description: Three bronze plaques set within a large ornate oak border. Pillars on either side and board shaped in a Nowy headed design above each plaque. Two cherubs' heads flank the central plaque with laurel garlands below them. A wreath encloses the names of the fallen, carved in capitals.
Inscription: (Centre panel): WEST VALE BAPTIST SUNDAY SCHOOL / ROLL OF HONOUR / GREAT EUROPEAN WAR / 1914 1918 / TO THE MEMORY OF OUR / HONOURED DEAD / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES, AND ALSO / TO THOSE WHO SERVED IN THE / GREAT CAUSE OF FREEDOM / DURING THE EUROPEAN WAR. / (Names) / "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS / THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE / FOR HIS FRIENDS" / JOHN XV-13 (Left and right panels): (Names)
