Description
Organ and dedicatory wooden board, with a stone tablet for the names. The organ is lost, the names tablet in very poor condition with many cracks. The Dedication board is in good condition.
Inscription
Wooden Board: ALLELUIA. THIS ORGAN AND THE TABLET AT THE WEST-END OF THIS CHURCH ARE DEDICATED TO COMMEMORATE ALIKE THE BRAVE MEN OF THIS CHURCH AND PARISH WHO DIED FIGHTING FOR ENGLAND AND THE GALLANT SURVIVORS WHO SHARED THEIR DANGERS, TOILS AND SUFFERINGS; TO SHOW HONOUR TO THE DEAD AND GRATITUDE TO THE LIVING; TO IMBUE SUCCESSIVE GENERATIONS WITH THE SAME LOVE OF COUNTRY AND SENSE OF DUTY; AND TO EXPRESS THANKFULNESS TO GOD FOR HIS MERCIFUL PROTECTION OF THE HOMELAND. 1914-1919. On War Memorial: THESE MEN OF THIS CHURCH AND PARISH WERE NUMBERED AMONG THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919/ LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER SEE TO IT THAT THEIR NAMES BE NOT FORGOTTEN.
