- Obelisk of rough granite with steps leading up either side, all set at the head of 12 acres of parkland with trees. Two bronze plaques carry the commemoration.

- THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED AND THIS STRAY DEDICATED/TO THE PUBLIC FOREVER IN REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE RESIDENTS/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES AND IN GRATITUDE TO THOSE SURVIVORS/WHO GAVE THEIR SERVICES IN THE EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1918/ AND IN HONOUR OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY 1939-1945
