Description
Obelisk of rough granite with steps leading up either side, all set at the head of 12 acres of parkland with trees. Two bronze plaques carry the commemoration.

THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED AND THIS STRAY DEDICATED/TO THE PUBLIC FOREVER IN REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE RESIDENTS/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES AND IN GRATITUDE TO THOSE SURVIVORS/WHO GAVE THEIR SERVICES IN THE EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1918/ AND IN HONOUR OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY 1939-1945
