    Description
    Column surmounted by stone urn. Column surmounts stone plinth which bears names and inscription in incised black lettering. Memorial stands on three-stepped hexagonal base. Shaft of column ornamented with stone shields. Whole is set within a 1/4 acre memorial garden.

    To the/ glory of God/ and in honour of the men of the/ township of Norwood Green/ and Coley who gave their lives and in gratitude to all who /served their country in the /Great War 1914-1918 names of the fallen/ (names)/ and in honour of those who gave/ their lives in the service of/ their country/ 1939-1945
