    Description
    Stone figure of a King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry soldier holding a bayonet surmounts square-set stone plinth. Plinth bears names and inscription in incised black lettering. Stepped stone base. Whole is set in a small, triangular memorial garden.

    Repaired and bayonet replaced August 2004. A replica of the original bayonet was made by Douglas Blackhall, engineer and chairman of Blackhall Engineering, using stainless steel plate and teak.
