    Description
    Stone wheel cross surmounting large stone plinth. Plinth incorporates bench or shelf. WW1 plaque on shaft of cross. WW2 plaque on plinth. Plaques bear white lettering. Two stepped stone base. Wooden lychgate with pitched, tiled roof. Celtic-style carving on head and shaft of cross.

    THIS CROSS AND THE LYCHGATE ADJOINING WERE ERECTED IN PROUD AND GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH AND NEIGHBOURHOOD WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE CAUSE OF LIBERTY AND RIGHT IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1818/ (Names)/ ALSO TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO FELL IN THE WORLD WAR 1939-1945/ (Names)/ KILLED IN THE SERVICE OF HIS COUNTRY/ PETER WILLIAM RASTRICK
