Description
Two large nowy-headed tablets, one for each war. The First World War one is a marble tablet and the Second World War one is a stone tablet. There is a golden cross at the top centre of each. In the Second World War one there is also a golden double circle around the the cross.

(WW1Tablet): THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED IN/ PROUD AND GRATEFUL MEMORY/ OF THE FOLLOWING WHO LAID DOWN/ THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR./ 1914-1919/ (Names)/ "WENT THE DAY WELL? WE DIED AND NEVER KNEW/ BUT WELL OR ILL, ENGLAND, WE DIED FOR YOU." (WW2 Tablet): IN/ GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE/ OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR/ 1939-1945/ (Names)/ "WHO THROUGH FAITH/ WAXED VALIANT"
