- Hayes & Harlington Gazette - Wednesday, November 17, 1993 A Grandmother visited the cemetery and found the memorial badly neglected. She wrote to the Managing Director of EMI Music Services and he arranged for it to be restored by a local stonemason. The York stone slabs were relaid and the Portland stone memorial was cleaned and the letters enamelled. (photographs)
