    Two stepped base surmounted by square plinth and soldier standing at ease with rifle. Whole is set in a small memorial garden.

    1947: Needs cleaning. A Renovation Fund 2015- Rainwater seeping into soldier statue through his shoulders and bags, steel inside statue rusting, water seeping in through a drain hole in the soldier's rifle- to be repaired between 9/11/2015 and 25/6/2016, estimated cost £10,000.
