    Cross with three plaques: Two commemorate the dead of WW1 and WW2 a third records All the Eastcote men who served in HM forces, volunteers and the wounded who passed through Eastcote VAD Hospital.

    THIS MONUMENT/IS ERECTED AS A/MEMORIAL/TO THE MEN OF/EASTCOTE/WHO GAVE THEIR/LIVES FOR THEIR/COUNTRY AND AS/A RECORD OF THE/LOYALTY AND DEVOTION/OF THE MEN OF/EASTCOTE WHO SERVED/IN HM FORCES TO/THE WOUNDED WHO/PASSED THROUGH/EASTCOTE HOSPITAL/AND TO THE VOLUNTARY/HELPERS IN THE/HOSPITAL WORK/1914-1919.     Maintenance History
    Revamped in 1999 and WW2 names added. Original bronze panels moved to RBL Hall, Southbourne Gardens, Eastcote, HA4 9SQ, when the cross was overhauled and the panels replaced. The Cross replaced a wooden shrine (Our ref. 60417)
