    Description
    Two-stepped base surmounted by plinth and figure of a solider. Bronze solider is in battledress standing in Flanders mud with helmet raised in right hand and rifle held in left, butt to the ground and angled out from body. Inscription on bronze plaques on the sides of the plinth. Second World War names on plaques at the base of the plinth.
