    FIGURE OF BOER WAR SOLDIER WITH ARMS REVERSED. FIGURE SURMOUNTS PLINTH. PLINTH'S SIDE PANELS BEAR NAMES AND INSCRIPTIONS IN BLACK LETTERING ON 3 SIDES WITH THE NAMES OF THE DEAD FACING FRONT AND THOSE WHO SERVED ON EITHER SIDE.
