    Description
    Three-stepped octagonal base consisting of two shallow lower steps & a slightly taller upper step surmounted by a square sectioned plinth with platformed top face. Rising from this platform is a tapering octagonal column & capital with Clipsham stone Latin cross. Plinth has inset stone panels showing dedication and names. Wreath in low relief at centre of cross. Separate angled tablets mounted adjacent to upper step/plinth interface. Whole memorial area surrounded by a low post and chain fence, in a paved area by road junction. WREATH IN LOW RELIEF AT THE CENTRE OF THE CROSS
