    Description
    Cenotaph with inset life-sized figure of soldier in high relief in niche. Soldier rests on arms reversed, bareheaded. Helmet rests at his feet. Carved wreaths on three other faces of cenotaph, with latin cross about wreath on rear face. Arms of Burslem carved in relief at top of front face.

    1990: FIELD WORK REPORT IDENTIFIES THAT THE FRAME AROUND THE FIGURE IS FLAKING. ALSO SEVERAL NUMERALS HAVE LOST THEIR SHARP EDGES. CONDITION STILL VERY GOOD (SEE PHOTOS)
