- Crucifix on rectangular three-stepped pedestal, with one kneeling and two flanking female figures. Originally there were two marble tablets on the pedestal, but these have been replaced with slate ones with changed inscriptions.

- Top tablet:ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS OF ST WERBURGH'S/ TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE OF THE PARISH/ WHO DIED IN THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1918/ "MAY THEY REST IN PEACE"/ Lower tablet:ALSO/ TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE OF THE PARISH/ WHO DIED IN THE 1939-1945 WAR/ MAY THEY ALSO REST IN PEACE Replacement tablet top: ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS OF ST WERBURGH'S/ TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE OF THE PARISH/ WHO DIED IN BOTH THE GREAT EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1918, /AND IN THE 1939-1945 WAR/ "MAY THEY REST IN PEACE" Lower: They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn./At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,/ We will remember them.
