    Description
    A soldier of the Lincolnshire Regiment in service dress and helmet standing against a tree stump with a rifle held in the at-ease position, this is set on an elaborate but short pillar, octagonal plinth, and three stepped base. The names of those lost in WW1 are in leaded lettering on all eight faces of the plinth, and on three free standing shields in front are WW2 names incised and picked out in black. A scroll on Face 5 of the pillar has the names of WW1 battles in bas relief, and the main dedication is within a shield on Face 1 of the pillar also in bas relief. On Faces 3 and 7 are Lions heads holding wreaths in their mouths.

    Maintenance History
    May 2015: A car crash in March 2015 damaged the WW2 shields, repairs were carried out by Leake's Masonry Ltd of Louth. 2005: Memorial cleaned for the marking of the 60th anniversary of the end of WW2. The date of adding the shields with WW2 civilian and WW2 military casualties is unknown.
