Description: Rectangular brass plaque , the longer axis horizontal , set on a brown wooden backboard . A foliate border within double lines coloured red . A large plain Latin cross positioned centrally , coloured red ,and surrounded by the dedication which is incised and coloured black.
Inscription: IN LOVING MEMORY OF / ARTHUR HENRY TURING LIEUTENANT 36 SIKHS / SON OF THE REVD J.R. & F. M. TURING / WHO FELL IN THE BATTLE OF THE INDIAN FRONTIER / JANY 29 1898 AGED 27 YEARS / "BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH & I WILL / GIVE THEE A CROWN OF LIFE" REV.11.10
