    Description
    Rectangular brass plaque , the vertical axis longer , set on a black marble backboard . At the top is the badge of the Bedfordshire Regiment , followed by the first part of the dedication . There follows the names of the fallen , in two columns , grouped by campaign and within that by rank . Finally the second part of the dedication . All is within a narrow foliate border . The names , dedication , border and badge are incised and coloured black
