    Wall mounted, landscape orientated incised stone tablets, enclosed by a moulded stone frame. Inscription infilled with black paint.

In memory o the men who died on the night of 24th March 1944 when Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress serial number 42-97578 of 422nd Squadron 305th Bomb Group crashed just north of Yelden Church.
