Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN REMEMBRANCE OF / KING EDWARD THE ELDER / WHO DEFEATED THE DANES AT TEMPSFORD A.D. 921; / THIS WINDOW IS HUMBLY OFFERED BY THE REVD. J. DAVENPORT JONES, / FORMERLEY RECTOR OF THIS PARISH / ST PETER'S DAY 1908 / "THAT THEIR POSTERITY MIGHT KNOW IT / AND THE CHILDREN THAT WERE YET UNBORN"
