Description: Small cenotaph with carved wreath at top of main face. Incised inscriptions and names on three faces. Incised explanatory tablet at base describing relocation and rededication of memorial. All lettering infilled with black enamel paint.
Inscription: 6 o'clock face : 1914 + 1918 / TO / THE GLORIOUS MEMORY / OF / (15 NAMES) / WHO IN THE GREAT WAR / GAVE UP THEIR LIVES THAT / OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN / FREEDOM / THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE 9 o'clock face : 1939 + 1945 / ALSO / IN GRATEFUL MEMORY / OF / (1 NAME) / MISSING IN ACTION / AUGUST 3RD. 1944 12 o'clock face : REMEMBRANCE / + + / UNTIL / THE / REVEILLE Tablet at 6 o'clock base : THIS MEMORIAL WAS RELOCATED / FROM ITS FORMER SITE / FRONTING THE STUART MEMORIAL HALL / AND REDEDICATED AT A CANDLELIT VIGIL / COMMEMORATING THE CENTENARY / OF THE START OF WORLD WAR ONE / 4TH AUGUST 2014
