Description: White marble tablet mounted on red marble with white veins. Relief carving on left hand side of elephant facing left, banner below it with the word 'assaye' on it. Crossed swords below elephant with the figure '19' in between the sword handles. Sword tips are missing.
Inscription: IN MEMORY OF / WILLIAM AUBREY ORLEBAR / 2ND LIEUT. 19TH HUSSARS / DIED DURING THE SEIGE OF LADYSMITH / OF ENTERIC FEVER 17TH FEBRUARY 1900 / IN HIS 21ST YEAR / WHAT'ER THE DUTY MAY HAVE BEEN / HIS HUMBLE TASK IS DIGNIFIED, HE SERVED / HIS COUNTRY AND HIS QUEEN / .....
