    Description
    A medieval village market cross was restored in 1921 and converted into a Great War memorial. Two-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a plinth, collar, tapering octagonal sectioned column and tabernacle with canopy. The tabernacle is decorated with Christ crucified, St. George with shield, Virgin and child, St. Margaret of Antioch. No names are recorded on the memorial, inscription only.

    Maintenance History
    2005: Church now disused. 1921: An existing market cross was restored in memory of those killed in the First World War. The plinth and lower shaft date to 1450, whilst the upper shaft, tabernacle and canopy were the restored features in 1921.
