- Inscription
- (6 o'clock): IN COMMEMORATION/ OF THE TRUE AND FAITHFUL MEN,/WHO IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914-1919/ WENT FORTH FROM THIS PLACE/ FOR GOD AND THE RIGHT./ THE NAMES OF THE 25 WHO RETURNED/ NOT AGAIN, ARE HERE INSCRIBED TO BE/ HONOURED FOR EVERMORE (On plinth below); 1939-1945/ (Names) (9 o'clock and 3 o'clock faces show WW1 names).
