- Description
- Elaborate wall monument. Centrepiece depicts sculpted relief of a standing lancer holding reins of a horse and extending his right hand to aid another soldier, bareheaded and possibly wounded, seated on the ground beneath a palm tree. This centrepiece is flanked by two broken columns bearing the names of the fallen. Badge of the 16th Queen's Lancers above figures.
