    Description
    A rough-hewn red sandstone pillar surmounting three-stepped base. The dedication is written in black lettering on inset smooth panels. Whole set on elevated platform, accessed by six white-washed steps.

MCMXIV - MCMXVIII/ AD MAJOREM DEI GLORIAM/ ATQUE IN MEMORIA VIRUM/ OPPIDI HUJUS, QUI VITAM/ IN BELLO MAGNO/ PRO PATRIA ET/ LIBERTATE PROFUNDERUNT/ THIS MONUMENT WAS UNVEILED BY/ GEN.
