White marble within a pink marble backboard. The plaque is decorated with flowers which are carved in relief at the top corners of the white marble.

THIS TABLET WAS PLACED HERE BY THE PARISHIONERS AS A TRIBUTE TO THE MEMORY OF THE PUNCKNOLL (SIC) MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918 / (Names) / GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS
